Confession

Not only did I take Jonah shopping on the "busiest" day of the year but:

1) He lost his shoe. Much like his cousin Emily before him, he is determined to NEVER wear shoes and socks. Luckily, we found his shoe sad and alone in JC Penney.

B) of all the malls I took him to Golf Mill.

D) Jonah feasted on McDonald's for the first time. We shared some chicken nuggets, fries and a water. Daddy was not happy but I recently heard that since the documentary Supersize Me and the book Fast Food Nation, the fast food giant has changed their ways. C'mon, you can't deny they have the best fries in all the land.

Golf Mill? Take the kid to Woodfield. Golf Mill is what Chris Rock once called the "black mall" aka the mall everyone USED to go to. It's filled with nothing but sneakers and baby clothes. I apologize if that sounds racist in any way, I'm just trying to paint an accurate picture of Golf Mill for folks who've never been.

You took him to McDonalds and didn't even score an Apple Pie for him? FOR SHAME!

People at work call Golf Mill the 'ghetto' mall but I try my best to avoid such words that evoke stereotypes and visions of stores like the one at Town and Country Mall that displayed dream catchers and wolf rugs.

Did I mention a nice man with an accent kept asking us to touch and smell his ginger microwaveable neck massage thingy? gross.

good job.. if you give him the ff now, maybe he won't covet them later. and thank you brian for the clarification on the mall's finer attributes.
