Jonah and I took our first road trip alone. We drove out to Woodstock to visit Auntie Kathy, Uncle Vince, and Baby the Huskie. Jonah's obsession with doggies continues to grow. Jonah had a great time with Kathy. We went on a walk and almost got caught in a storm. Jonah also had a good time messing Kathy's nicely waxed floors by spitting carrots all over the place--hilarious. They ripped up an US Weekly together; this is one of jonah's favorite activities right now. I think it's because he saw Big Cope doing it last week on the internet machine. The key here is to put the nunu in his mouth so he doesn't eat the pages.
I thought it would be important to introduce Jonah to Woodstock at a young age. I spent a lot of time there when I was a kid and it's also the location of Blaine's Farm and Fleet--one of my favorite places to shop (only two minutes away from Kathy's house). Also, Woodstock's historic town square is where they filmed Groundhog Day, a Schmaranzer family classic.
